Hoomans, Utter Fail…

Hoomans! Console me.

First, though, for those who don’t know me, I am Zulejka, epitome of Cat, pinnacle of Beauty, queen of Tiny Pawsies, and only my hooman knows how much I poke my kitty nose into corners and decorate my whiskers with stoopid fuzzies that make me look kitty-ridiculous.

(Admire the tiny pawsies upon the picture above.)

I did a video improving hooman’s sentences and popped it up on youtube. No one ever watches hooman’s videos, so I thought I was safe, but this one got over 150 views in the first few hours–but also 6 DISLIKES and only 3 likes! And, hoomans, LOOK AT THE COVER IMAGE!

I do not think hoomans are expecting a kitty spoof video, and maybe because of that they are disliking it. Here it is if you are curious (be curious about my creations, hoomans):

Hooman unpublicized it and tried to make another with a different cover image by adding the kitty image below to indicate that it is not a hooman who wants certain play toys out:

But youtube will not use it! Hooman tried it for over an hour. And so, the original is up.

Le sadz.

Console me, hoomans.

Poor video! Unlucky with that cover image, though. People who don’t read the video’s title are in for a surprise.

In any case, hopefully that amused you a bit in a world going mad (so much sadness, for real). And, you know, the more time that passes, the more I feel like my blog is my closest connection to the outside world, and you readers are my favorite from any social media. You don’t even interact with me; it’s just this weird feeling, I guess, that makes me feel closer when I write here than, for example, on Facebook.

Also, the reason the youtube dislikes aren’t visible to the average user is that youtube hides them, but creators of the videos get to see in our stats how many people don’t like them. It’s as demoralizing as a stab through the nail to get dislikes. [If you’re curious which of my videos people have disliked, Unbeautiful Corners got 1 dislike & 5 likes, Heiress of Secrets with Gothic Zulejka got 1 dislike & 2 likes, and a new one below also got a dislike.]

Le sigh.

However, for those of you who’ve enjoyed my previous story videos (all less than a minute long, some less than 30seconds), here are the ones done since my last blog post –>

First, the uber-short, non-spoof video on which I based the kitty-written spoof:

I loved this next one so much when I made it that I thought it was the most beautiful video I’d ever made, but it got 1 dislike and only 1 like, so that was kind of a downer (also, this book is free–and it’s also the same book as in the previous video, but a different aspect of it):

I redid this dramatic scene from The Wicked Orc, which got ZERO views (maybe parts of it are too close to having bare man chests? No idea):

I tried a silly one, too, about showing my date one of my Wicked Orc smut scenes, but I’m not really a fan of it:

Another of my favorites was this one redone for Heiress of Secrets (I think the music makes it a lot more fun than the original):

Lol and saving my LEAST favorite for last:

In any case, I’m planning on publishing another blog post tomorrow with a surprise little dark romantic fairytale novella coming out in time for Halloween!

And so! Thrice the shadow. [Nope, I still do not know what that means!]

Anyway, all the love to you all 🙂 Be kind this week. Aaaaand if you want to give me some love (or feed me 😀 since I’m always low on food [feeeed meeeeee]), you can ‘buy me a coffee’, that is, send $1 (or more) via buy me a coffee, or to support me regularly, you can join the patreon I’ve been seriously neglecting (but want to resume), or get daily snippets I have been failing to share on Facebook, check out my books I don’t want anyone to buy, or join the newsletter I haven’t been writing (but intend to). THANK YOU for any and all love!
